2.5 DAYS IN PORTUGALPortugal was my first real European trip and last on our "babymoon" jouney! I was so excited to immerse myself in another culture and check out all the amazing architecture. We had 2.5 days to spend in Lisbon, so we wanted to make the most of each day and see as much as possible. Below is everything we were able to do on our short stay!

4 DAYS IN MOROCCOThe second leg of our babymoon trip was a stop in Morocco. This was actually my favorite destination of the three (Canary Islands, Morocco, and Portugal)! Morocco was so different and full of culture. We loved getting to see the scenery, ways of living, food, and so much more!
3 DAYS IN THE CANARY ISLANDSOur trip to the Canary Islands was our first stop on our "babymoon" trip! While we might not have been able to do any crazy excursions, we still were able to explore the island in the three short days we were there. Below is our recap of the trip!

3 DAYS IN TAHITIBora Bora was our first stop on our honeymoon trip. It was the perfect destination to unwind after a long few months of wedding planning. We were able to unplug and detach ourselves from the world for a little bit and enjoy the beautiful islands. Check out more on our stay below.
10 days in IndiaVisiting India in only 10 days was ambitious, but I'm glad we did it. A lot was squeezed into these days, but that's usually how our trips are. We see the most we can possible see in the given amount of time. From the jungle to the city, the village to the markets, we were able to explore a vast amount of South India during our trip. Check out the details below!
10 DAYS IN AFRICAOur trip to Africa was unlike anything I've ever experienced. If you're debating on if you should go - GO! You will make remarkable memories and experience an unforgettable journey. We spent two weeks in Africa, split between South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Below is our itinerary and activities, plus tips and recaps.
With only an 8 hour layover in Dubai on our way to Africa, we had to decide if we wanted to spend our time roaming the duty free shops or if we wanted to get a little taste of the city. I'm so glad we opted for the latter!
From the airport, we took a local train to the mall, which is right in front of the Burj Khalifa. The walk from the train to the actual start of the mall is pretty long, so keep that in mind if you're carrying luggage. It was probably a good 20 minute walk. |
