Walking in sand is a great workout, let alone climbing sand. Especially while pregnant under the sun, make sure to bring water! There were different levels of incline, so if you don't want to sprint up a steep dune like my husband did, you can opt for a more gradual incline, which I preferred. Overall it was a fun day of playing around in the sand and getting our dose of vitamin D.
