Every year my college friends get together for a "friendsgiving." I decided to host this year and wanted to adult a little. I decided to go for one long table so everyone could sit down to eat together. Almost everything I used for this table layout was purchased on Amazon. I started out by putting two 6 ft tables next to each other. Next I put the white table cloths over the table and draped a flannel scarf over the center in a diamond shape. I used a marble cutting board to indicate the center of the table with a marble salt and pepper shaker to go along with it. Then I staggered the candles across the length of the scarf and wove in the leaf branches. Afterwards, I placed the pumpkins and pinecones strategically to cover any empty spots. The wooden plates were set at each seat. We ended up adding mismatched plates and placemats we already owned underneath to fill out the ends of the tables. The apples were a last minute touch, but added the perfect pop of color on the table. One side of the table was all foldable chairs, but we were going for a relaxed look, so the other side we placed a pouf and two benches to complete the look. Below are the links to each product we used on Amazon. We received so many compliments on the table. I actually recreated the look for a smaller meal with the family on Thanksgiving. It truly took less than 5 minutes for the smaller version and less than 10 for the large. If you're like me, then every detail needs to be perfect, but you're also always running late! So this set up was perfect to pop up and go on with the rest of the night's prep. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out!
